A single-blind, controlled, randomized, crossover trial of ass's milk (AM) and goat's milk (GM) was conducted in 28 children with atopic dermatitis (AD) and cow's milk allergy (CMA). The children were randomized to AM or GM for 6 months then switched to the other milk for 3 months. Blind evaluations were by SCORing Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD) index (SI) and a visual analog scale (VAS) for symptoms. Food challenges with GM and AM were conducted post study.
