A 72-year-old man was referred to
our clinic with an itchy rash that started on the trunk and rapidly
spread to the palms of his hands and the soles of his feet. He
experienced an L5 vertebral fracture due to intense osteoporosis 2
months before the onset of the rash. The fracture had been treated
with alendronate 70 mg weekly. His medical history showed arthrosis
controlled with paracetamol. No other drugs were reported in his
medical history...
