Psoriasis is an inflammatory condition, the pathology of which is affected by an interaction between genetic and environmental factors. The research work of Dr. Marta Ferran from the Department of Dermatology at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona focuses on the delineation of the etiopathogenic mechanisms that are implicated in the development of this disease.
