Low satisfaction with treatment in psoriasis patients

 
 

Data from U.S. semiannual, cross-sectional patient surveys (n = 3097) conducted between 2003 and 2006 evaluated satisfaction with treatment amongst community-based psoriasis patients. Patients with severe to moderate psoriasis reported lower treatment satisfaction than those with mild disease (p < 0.0001). Patients on systemic therapy or phototherapy had significantly greater satisfaction scores than those not on such therapy or those on topical monotherapy (p < 0.001). Responders who saw more than two physicians for psoriasis reported lower satisfaction scores than those who did not (Horn, E. et al.
