An educational and medical program designed to improve the quality of life of children and the families of those suffering from atopic dermatitis (AD) has been provided by the Pediatric Allergology Department of the University of Bologna over the past 3 years. The program, which is particularly addressed to parents of children (>6 years of age) diagnosed with AD, consists of a cycle of six 90-minute meetings at weekly intervals.
