32 - Social competencies II
In terms of social skills, which we define as the ability to obtain favorable responses from others, the following competencies are important: influence or effective handling of persuasion techniques; communication, which is active listening and the ability to send convincing messages that will lead to favorable changes in others; conflict management, that is, to be able to negotiate and reach positive solutions for disagreements; leadership, or, in other words, to inspire and guide people or groups; to be a change mediator, which involves introducing or managing changes; relationship development, that is, to form bonds and nourish useful relationships; collaboration and cooperation, which is to work with others towards a common goal; and, finally, teamwork, which involves the creation of a group synergy in the pursuit group objectives. end
