Planning
Many times, the objectives of our trip have not been clearly defined. Examine the situation and decide whether the trip is absolutely necessary or if you have other alternatives, such as sending someone else in your place. Be sure to have the logistics details in order, such as hotel bookings, transportation, etc. Decide what you will do should you be faced with some dead periods of time. Let the people you will be meeting know the purposes of your trip in order to enable them to prepare themselves as well. Separate all paperwork and documents per item to be discussed. Be aware of your biological rhythm so that you can engage in more critical activities when you know your body will be functioning better. Prepare reports of your trips and make them available to those who may need them or to whom the information may be useful.
