How do you lose time?
How do you lose time?
This slide insists on how loss of time most often coincides with the preference to focus on the urgent rather than on the important. The most common factors that contribute towards losing time are:
1) Lack of adequate planning based on our objectives.
2) Too many uncontrolled interruptions, untimely visits, unscheduled meetings, etc.
3) Too many meetings.
4) Personal characteristic to tend to leave things for later.
5) Trips and dead times: waits, delays, etc.
6) Too much information and excess of documents to read, review, sign, etc.
7) Unwillingness to delegate tasks due to lack of reliability on team members.
These are time stealers.
